Faith- It’s Been A Long Winter
It’s been a long time since I’ve shared my GR8 thoughts here . . .
Guess that’s the way life goes some time, but I’m back
So today I walked up to one of the most beautiful places I know, one which holds a lot of memories for me as it was my backyard when I was a kid . . . Manito Park, specifically the Rose gardens.
Yesterday when I walked up that way it was 50 and sunny, here is a picture from today:

So do you recognize what’s going on here . . .
Yes, it’s snowing, that’s spring in Spokane, but that’s not what I meant . . .
There’s a gardener removing the warm blanket of pine needles from the roses so they can soak up the spring sun. The ironic thing is that it’s snowing, but he knows spring is coming and he is getting ready!
God causes Spring to come every year and into every life . . .
There are seasons as Solomon affirms in Ecclestiastes 3. God is faithful and Spring comes after every Winter, followed by Summer then Fall and Winter again . . . life changes, but He is faithful!
So, like this gardener, I am looking forward to the Spring of His love and realize that we will live in the eternal Sonshine of His love . . . forever.
Like this gardener, I am acting in faith, preparing for Spring ’cause it’s comin’!
